Great book giveaway! The Irish Country House
A great giveaway for you! The book "The Irish Country House" by the Knight of Glin and James Peill. Photography by James Fennel. The photos are surely a treat as so many of these interiors, though still occupied, look as if they haven't changed a bit through time. It's a great holiday time book. It should, however, be called the The Irish Country Castle - or Estate, as these are no little cottages. To enter to win a copy of the book simply leave a comment on this post. Please pick me!!! This is my favorite kind of design book for exactly the reason that you said--the interiors never become dated because they are timeless. Also, in Ireland you have the beautiful patina in the dark wood tones and the gorgeous porcelain. That first photo is to die for.......
